Being raised in a small town in Texas gave me solid values and ethics, and spending my career travelling the world gave me perspective.
After college, I began my career in the medical sales industry, spending my first 5 years working sales territories in Texas then being promoted to various management and supervisory positions and moving from small markets, to large markets in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Southern California before ending up in Arizona. I have led large sales organizations in the implantable medical device industry and been a creator of several small medical device companies.
For the past 27 years, I have called Arizona home. My wife and I enjoy travelling both domestically and internationally. We enjoy our RV tremendously, along with our dog, Layla. We also delve into photography, golf and brunch excursions. Real estate has allowed me to continue to meet people and use my skills to help people find their home.
My life long career in real estate began in 1999 in Elmsford, NY as part of a commercial real estate management team. Property management was not a field that I anticipated pursuing, yet my ability to manage demanding clients and stay calm in stressful situations, along with a strong attention to detail made it a perfect career fit.
My role within the field quickly progressed as I assumed increasingly more responsibility managing multimillion dollar commercial assets for a variety of private and institutional clients. An opportunity to relocate to Phoenix presented itself in 2003 and my career in commercial property management continued to progress.
Since my first property management position, real estate has had a huge impact on my life, professionally and personally. I was first introduced to my husband on the roof of a building in the meat packing district of NYC. Admittedly, it was not love at first sight but several years later we found ourselves working for the same company again, this time in Arizona, and we’ve now been together for 12 years.
In 2017 I decided to transition to a position in residential real estate where my 18 years of commercial experience has translated into a strong understanding of the market drivers that impact residential real estate values. I am excited to be part of the #OrangeIsTruth collaborative and continue to expand my real estate experience into the world of residential. I look forward to meeting many new people and helping them find their dream home or investment opportunity.
